Enantiopure Alleno‐Acetylenic Cage Receptors for Molecular Recognition in Aqueous Medium

چکیده

The recognition of small molecules in hydrophobic cavities aqueous medium is a fundamental process molecular biology. Previously, we described the synthesis and conformational switching enantiopure alleno-acetylenic cage receptors as well their application model systems to study detail interplay space occupancy, conformation, complexation, chiral organic solvents. Now, report three functionalized with hydrophilic groups at surface, which allows an extension studies media. new show solvent- guest-induced binary between ‘open’ ‘closed’ conformation. Importantly, chiroptical properties are strongly conformation-dependent, effect that manifests itself upon guest inclusion. We used electronic circular dichroism titrations quantitatively binding inside receptor cavity methanolic water.
